Lumie — Terms of Use

Welcome to Lumie, a space for discovering and sharing peaceful places.
By downloading or using the Lumie app (“App”), you agree to follow these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read them carefully — they explain what you can expect from Lumie and what Lumie expects from you.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. About Lumie

Lumie is a mindfulness companion — a simple tool that helps you find quiet locations, post your own calm spots, and explore short meditative features.
The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Your Account and Content

Some features may allow you to create an account or post your own contributions (such as calm places, photos, or short reflections).
You remain the owner of everything you share, but you grant Lumie a limited, non-exclusive license to display that content within the App so other users can see and enjoy it.

You are responsible for ensuring that anything you post:

• Is your own or you have the right to share it;
• Does not include offensive, harmful, or misleading material;
• Respects others’ privacy and safety.

Lumie may moderate or remove content that violates these rules or applicable laws.

3. Personal Data

Lumie handles your information according to the Privacy Policy, which explains what is collected and how it’s used.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in that Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

When using Lumie, you agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the App;
• Interfere with Lumie’s operation, servers, or security;
• Attempt to access data or accounts that aren’t yours;
• Use Lumie in a way that disrupts others’ experience or violates local laws.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, app design elements, and text not uploaded by users belong to Lumie or its licensors.
You may not reproduce or use them without prior permission.

6. Service Changes and Availability

Lumie may evolve over time — features can change, be paused, or removed.
We may also update or suspend access temporarily for maintenance or improvement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Lumie is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no guarantees that the App will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet every user’s expectation of mindfulness or calm.
You use the App at your own discretion and risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lumie and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

You may stop using Lumie at any time by deleting the App or your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if it’s necessary for safety, maintenance, or legal compliance.

10. Updates to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The most recent version will always appear in the App or on its App Store page.
Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
